If you have been out of the job market for quite some time, for any reason, addressing the break in a career can usually seem like a tough situation to explain; but if a career break is for a substantial length of time for example  more than than 6 months, then you should enhance CV to get rid of any ambiguity about that the time period. If you are able to view the career break in the right manner and enhance CV in the right way then your career break does not have to seem like a very awkward item to handle, in fact it can enhance CV.
Individuals take career breaks for various reasons, to reassess priorities, to have and raise children, due to ill health or just because they are not able to find job after redundancy or the end of the contract etc. The breaks in the career history should be considered as an important opportunity to gain new experiences and skills and as such it should be the focus of the career break section within the CV.
