From time to time you might get a bit bored of doing the same job and want to try something new. It may be that you feel you are to being challenged enough anymore or that the job has changed too much for your liking. It may be that you have recently started a family and want something that fits in with our new lifestyle, whatever the reason, starting a new career can be tough.

If you are reliant on a wage then you may find it more difficult to give up work completely to go back to education, but if this is something that you really want to do, you may be able to manage with the help you may get from government schemes and student loans etc.

If you don’t know exactly what you want to do career wish then you may wish to complete a questionnaire (which can often be found online) which will ask you about your hobbies, skills and qualifications then give you a list of jobs that may suit your likes and needs. This can be a great starting place for ideas of what types of careers you may look to going in to. From this you can see if you are already qualified or if you need to obtain a degree etc to apply.
