When looking for work you may decide that you just need to find employment as quickly as possible or you may want to hold out until you find a job that you really want.

They will often find you work on a daily or weekly basis and although you have no guarantee of long-term work, these agencies are often successful in finding you placements quickly to allow you to start earning.

If however you have a career in mind that you want to pursue and have a level of experience or qualifications within a particular job role or industry and are looking for a more permanent placement then you need apply directly to companies by completing an application form or sending in your CV or use a recruitment agency that will put you forward for permanent positions. This may take a little longer to find work but hopefully will give you more job security.
